Indian Wells is located in the middle of the Coachella Valley. The Valley consists of Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Desert Hot Springs, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, Indian Wells, La Quinta, Indio and Coachella. Most of you are probably familiar with Palm Springs, which was made famous by Hollywood celebrities, but these other cities are also beautiful and have so much to offer. We can’t wait to share it with you!

Uber and Lyft are all readily available 24/7 and are convenient options to utilize as airport transportation and around the area.

Self-Parking at the Hyatt has been discounted and is available at $15 per night & Valet Parking available at $20 per night.

Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas
Bride & Groom will be staying at the Hyatt Regency, which is on the same campus as the venue (3 min walk).
aHoward & Kula Room Block price includes discounted room rate + resort fee ($349). Upgrade options are available. This resort was recently upgraded to a Hyatt Grand so you’ll be staying in a newly renovated, beautiful hotel!!

Residence Inn by Marriott La Quinta
We’ve booked another room block at Residence Inn, which is only a short drive to the venue.
Howard/Kula Room Block price includes discounted room rate. Upgrade options are available. Last day to book is 8/19/24.

Other Hotel Options
There’s plenty of other nearby hotels. We suggest the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa (on the same campus as the venue) or the Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa (right across the street). These prices are comparable to the Hyatt Regency.
Two more affordable options are Indian Wells Resort Hotel right across the street, or the Homewood Suites by Hilton in La Quinta which is a short drive away.

Things to do
Shopping
Visit Downtown Palm Dessert (El Paseo Drive), Downtown Palm Springs (Palm Canyon Drive) or Old Town La Quinta for shopping.
Golf
This area has some of the best golfing in the country and it’s one of our favorite things to do together. Here’s some of our favorite courses: Indian Wells Celebrity Course, Indian Canyons North Course, Desert Willow, La Quinta Resort Mountain Course, Escena, PGA West.
Hiking
There are many beautiful trails that are a short drive away. Here’s some ideas: Mount San Jacinto Park, Palm Canyon Trail, Tahquitz Canyon Trail & Indian Canyons. If you want a full day’s worth, go visit Joshua Tree about an hour away.
Palm Springs Aerial Tramway
This features the world’s largest rotating tram cars, taking you from the desert floor to the mountaintops. Enjoy dining, gift shopping, and outdoor activities.
Architecture & Celebrity Tours
Palm Springs is famous for it’s mid-century modern homes and rich celebrity history! Cruise around town from Tennis Club to Araby Cove and you’ll spot plenty of architectural gems along the way. Guided architecture & celeb tours are available. Sunnylands in Rancho Mirage is also worth checking out!
